This was great...Hannah fell asleep like this...she was exhausted!

I totally didn't realize that yesterday was the 26th and the girls 11 month birthday! I can't believe it's been THAT long since we brought them home. It sure doesn't seem like it. They have grown SOO much in the past 11 months and hit so many milestones. They have grown out of their "witching hours" and really been a joy to all our lives. We just love them soo much and i couldn't imagine our life without them. We love our house filled with noise and "talking". We love watching them grow before our eyes. I wanted to list all the milestones they've hit since they were born...just so i can remember what all they've done. 1. Sam has 7 teeth still and Sarah has 6 2. They've both mastered sitting up, crawling, and now walking 3. They eat any finger food you put in front of them and their favorites are pancakes, sweet potato chunks, french fries, green beans, white cheese Cheetos & graham crackers. They don't really like corn that much or anything small b/c they have issues holding the small things. 4. They play hard, fight hard and sometimes really love on each other. 5. They don't like to share even though they don't know any other way. 6. They always want the same toy even if it's a bowl out of the drawer. 7. They finally sleep from 730p-5aish. 8. They love to eat cheerios off the baking pan on the floor in the kitchen while we're cooking. 9. They LOVE TO EAT...such a change from Hannah 10. They are not big cuddlers anymore I will add more as i think of them... On another note...there are going to be a few exciting things happening in the next month that i'm really really looking forward to happening in our house. First of all we're going to start transitioning them to milk around Dec 15th...i'm hoping we've bought our last gigantic Sams can of 33.00 formula. They start MDO at St. Rose after the first of the year. We get to switch their car seats around to front facing. We're going to be having a big birthday party for them Dec 29th! These are all so exciting to me! I just can't believe i made it through this first year with my sanity and only a few more grey hairs! LOL! Hannah has also changed so much since the girls were born. She's helped a ton. She LOVES to help me with everything. She already helps me unload dishes, clear the table after we eat & brings me bibs when i need them. She's just such a big girl & we just love her soo much...even if she knows how to manipulate us! LOL!

Here are a couple of cute pics from today.
Also, my mom & dad have a new addition to their family! An eight week old puppy my mom named Kelley! She is a mini schnauzer and just precious and so spunky!
Sarah eating dinner..the reason i really took these was b/c i cut their hair...talking about butchering some hair! Hannah could have cut it better than i did! LOL! Sam's doesn't look SOO bad...a little longer..and a little straighter!
Hannah's messy buttery hands! YUCK!
Another cute pose...she's such a sweetie..when you don't make her mad and she goes and pees somewhere just to spite you like she did today when i wouldn't give her two snacks at once even though i knew she wouldn't eat both! Talking about terrible 3's!

This is the first year we're celebrating Thanksgiving as a family of 5! We had a great Thanksgiving. We worked on the rooms upstairs most of the day...then settled down and cooked a late lunch/early dinner and the Hannah crashed EARLY! She went to bed at 545p! HA HA! I sure hope she doesn't wake up in the middle of the night ready to get up and play! I think she's just exhausted and ate so much on top of that. For dinner we cooked a small turkey breast, some green bean casserole, mashed potatoes and i cooked a delicious peach cobbler from scratch! It was actually pretty good. We bought some ice cream(i'm not a big fan of ice cream but you have to eat it with Peach cobbler). The twins LOVED the ice cream. I probably wasn't supposed to give it to them...BUT i wanted to see if they'd like it! Their faces were PRICELESS...kinda like a normal face after eating a whole bag of gummy sours! HA HA! It was hilarious...but then they kept eating it. It's so different with the twins. They just LOVE to eat. On that note, i weight Sam today...she just looked really big to me. She weighted 19.2lbs! HOLY SMOKES! She is such a chunker! I mean, her belly is just busting out of things. With that being said...we were painting upstairs today and i was letting Hannah help paint..so i told her to put on a old pair of pants so she wouldn't mess them up. She put on a pair of 18MONTH pants and they were still LOOSE in the waist! HILARIOUS! They looked like she was waiting for the flood!
Anyway, all in all we had a great day! I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving too!

Thanksgiving is upon us(two days away)...i can't believe it! It's not cold outside so to me it just doesn't seem like the holidays are right around the corner. Weird! Anyway, this year i'm going to list all the things i'm thankful for...or at least some of them.
1. My family most of all
2. Health of all my family...
3. a roof over our heads..
4. My friends(i don't have that many but the ones i have i hold close to my heart)
5. Stability
6. Sleeping babies(LOL)
7. My dogs
8. Food to feed our family
9. Money to pay the bills
I'll add more as i think of them... To all of you reading this...Happy Thanksgiving. We are spending this holiday as a family. My parents are going over to my oler sisters house but we're not going b/c her house is really small and their is breakable stuff all over the house. I just don't feel comfortable going somewhere like that with the kidos...i would be on edge the whole time. Instead we're cooking our own Thanksgiving dinner...wish us luck. Should be fun! I'm making a peach cobbler(from scratch) and paul is cooking a small turkey and some casseroles! Yummy!
On another note...the girls are almost exclusively walking. Theyd definitely walk more than they crawl. I even took them outside in the front circular drive to walk around today. They had a blast...Sarah definitely out did Sam today. She was a walking fool. Sam was more interested in the leaves and dirty.

So we were on the way home from Chilis today. We were sitting at the light and our light and the light the crossed us had turned red. There was a cop sitting beside us getting ready to turn right. All of a sudden these gangsta looking guys in a decked out cadillac flew thru the light right in front of us then came screeching to a halt since their light had been red. Now mind you they were WAY through the light and might as well run it. Then they began to back up(obvioulsy they had seen the copy but not gone past him so the dumb butt didn't see them..a cop...go figure). Anyway they backed way up to go back to the light they ran...how FUNNY IS THAT? Totally something someone trying to stay away from the law woud do! It was soo funny and almost like something that should have been i a movie! FUNNY FUNNY!
ON another note...my girlfriend Jaymie(have known her since 9th or 10th grade is in the hospital having her baby...i can't wait to meet him and hope he's nice, plump & healthy!) I'll update again tomorrow...i'm planning on going up to visit tomorrow after paul gets home from work!

I was doing the dishes after lunch and things got really quiet in the bedroom...where all the girls were playing. This is what i found!!! They were all so proud and I'm sure the twins took out the socks and Hannah took out the diapers and stacked the boxes up all nice and tidy! :)

Here is some video of the girls walking! Sam is in the first one...Sarah in the second one!
Dear Grandma,
We are paitiently waiting your arrival in Dec. We will be walking like pros by then ,so be ready to chase us all around the house.
Love,
S&S
The girls have been taking steps for a while now. I just never seemed to have the darn camera when they'd take a step or two. Now they are really moving...i think they've almost figured out that it's easier and faster to get from point A to point B walking instead of crawling.
A little info about the girls...so i don't forget later on in life. The girls will both give you a high five. They will both wave bye bye. They know when you ask if they want a bottle or are hungry. They are not good at sharing even though they don't know any different...hmm, where did they get that from? They LOVE their big sister! They love to try new foods. They climb like monkeys. They love baths, esp all 3 in the tub together. They follow Hannah around like a puppy on a leash. They are not big sleepers(8p-5:20a is a typical good nights sleep for them).
By the way we are counting down till the days they start MDO...i'm nervous, excited and anxiously awaiting how MDO is going to handle the girls in one class room. LOL!! It's going to be entertaining! It's going to be quite interesting to see how the interact with out kidos...if they play together and forget about all the other kidos around...etc. O yeah i have decided to keep them in the same class room as long as possible. I think once they start to get into to much trouble or distract each other....then will talk about seperate clasrooms. Until they are staying together!

Hannah drinks chocolate milk every night and morning. She's been doing this since she was a bit over a year since she doesn't much like regular milk and she needs the nutrition since she's so skinny. Anyway today she had one milk this morning...then found another one she hadn't drank yesterday so she wanted that one too. I said fine whatever. She drank the first one..then brought the second one out but didn't drink it right away. I told her to go put it in the sink b/c it had been sitting out for a while. Little did i know that she actually went and put it back in the fridge...got it out an hour or so later and started to drink it. She drank about half..then started chocking...then puke went EVERYWHERE! Luckily i'm accustomed to her puking and on first reflex took her shirt and put it over her mouth to catch the nasty regurgitated chocolate milk and chocolate donuts she had this morning! POOR BABY...she was puking and it was ALL OVER HER FACE! I'm such a bad mom. What was i to do though b/c it was either in her face, which i could wash, or all over the couch and carpet that we play on all day long! YUCK!! Anyway i ran to the kitchen sink with her and cleaned her up a bit and then took her straight to the bath to get clean. ALL this while thankfully the girls had just fallen asleep in their bouncys after a bottle. Unfortunately the crying woke them up and they were right in the bathroom with me a few minutes later!
Anyway, the day started out good...they woke up at 5:20...a little later than 5a. Yesterday was 5:40 and i was in heaven...i can take 5:20 though...and then like 10 cups of coffee! LOL!!
I also forgot to add...my tiny baby girl weights 29.6lbs now! I was soo excited! I thought she was going to be 27lbs forever! LOL!! She's just such a small baby compared to my big whopper girls! They will weight as much as her in no time!
On another note...it's officially 6 weeks till the girls FIRST BIRTHDAY! I can't believe it! I can't believe i made it through a whole year with twins! We have been blessed with two(really 3) beautiful girls...and they have been so healthy and happy(now). I enjoy everyday and i'm so happy that God chose me and Paul to have twins...identical twins at that! It's been the best adventure of my life, stressful and sleepless...but something i will never forget! Anyway what i was getting at with this is that it's time to start planning a party! My friend melody brought up a good point...why not make it a early new years eve party every year! So this year will have their bday/new years eve party on Dec 29th. Now i better get working with a list of who to invite!

I went to Burlington Coat Factory today to find Hannah a dress to match the girls dresses for our Xmas Photos. Everything went fine so i decided to walk on over to Starbucks knowing that there wasn't a handicap door etc so i'd have to open the door and manage to get the darn stroller in somehow. Anyway, i walked on over and started to open the door to starbucks...noticing that there were two well dressed businessmen sitting RIGHT THERE JUST WATCHING! Didn't offer a lick of help! If i remember clearly this isn't the first time this has happened...Anyway so i just kept on trucking and didn't miss a beat. I was annoyed but what are you going to do? I kinda felt like i needed to yell at them like i was their mother and tell them to act like a gentleman and not like an idiot! I didn't...but i wanted to. Anyway so i got my coffee and proceeded to go out the other side/exit. There were again, two businessmen dressed nicely and avoiding eye contact so they wouldn't have to get their lazy as% up and open the door. I was furious and stuggling but managed to get the darn door open and started to pull the stroller out the door...as a nice GENTLEMAN that worked next door at Petsmart opened it from the outside! I had hope back that there may be a few gentlemen left in the world! I said thanks and yelled kinda loudly(hoping all the idiots in starbucks would hear me) that people are too busy acting like they don't see me to help! Anyway, what kind of world do we live in??? I would jump myself if i saw a lady with a stroller, bag, two kidos and coffee in her hand trying to open up a door and manage to get the darn stroller through without breaking off a finger or hand that's hanging out the side of the stroller! I was thinking for a few minutes that maybe we DO NEED TO MOVE FAR AWAY FROM THIS DARN TOWN! Far away to the country...perhaps all the way to good Ole' Kansas! Just somewhere far away from here. Anyway, too bad those stupid people that didn't help me could read this...so if you somehow find my blog and were at the 43rd & 290 starbucks around 1130a today...SHAME ON YOU! HA HA...not like anyone who was there is reading this...but i had to vent either way! :) NOW I FEEL MUCH BETTER!
I weighted the girls yesterday!
Sarah is 17.14
Sam is 18.12
Still about a pound apart.
They are both walking really good...i know they will be pros by their first birthday.

I had to go by my mom & dad's house to get some painting throws for the carpet in the bedroom so Hannah decided she wanted to go over and stay for a while by herself with my parents. I called my parents and they said that sounded fun! SO, I dropped Hannah off with some lunch just in case she decided to be picky and only wanted to eat hot dogs. So, she's at my parents right now hanging out playing with my mom. This is the FIRST time i've let her go on her own...she's such a brave baby..there was no hesitation in her at all. She even packed up a bag full of stuff to take over...drawing stuff and toys. It was really cute. She even wanted to pack her pj's but i told her no because she has school tomorrow.
SO, it's just me and the twins for the next couple of hours.
I just took some video of the girls walking...so i will be adding that to my blog shortly!

Since i went out and bought furniture for Hannah's big girl room upstairs we decided we needed to get with the program and get painting! We've already primed the Camo green room which will be Hannah's room later on but the guest room for the next year or two until the girls are ready to sleep upstairs. We'll paint the guest room the light purple i had painted Hannah's room at the tilson/old house. Then we'll move the guest furniture into that room(purple room) and get to painting Hannah's room which later will be come the twins room since there are two closets in that room. Then we'll paint Hannah's room/Julias old room Pink! Anyway, that's pretty much all we've been doing all weekend.
The girls are doing good. Walking more and more by the day. Yesterday Sarah surpassed Sam and took like 10 steps(estimation). I couldn't believe my eyes. One day soon they will catch on and decide it's soo much easier to get those cute little legs moving and stop crawling. I guess either way i'm just glad they are moving around. Sometimes kidos don't crawl until later on(up to and later than 14 months) and i couldn't imgaine the girls not getting around on their own. I like it that they've become somewhat little people that can entertain themselves.
Anyway Hannah's on like 8 days without an accident...knock on wood and cross your fingers she's officially potty trained. I still send her to MDO with a pull up on...but they always send her back with the same pull up on(i know because they have car pull ups and i have princess pull ups here).
Think that's it for now...i promise to post some pics soon...

Well, knock on wood, but my big girl is OFFICIALLY POTTY TRAINED! She was doing great last weekend and has only had a couple of accidents! She is doing so well! I'm sooo proud of her. On top of that, we went and bought her her new bedroom furniture today! Well Hannah and I did b/c i didnt' really want to take daddy and he veto all the bedroom sets i picked out! SO, Hannah and i went alone. We bought a really nice set of white furniture with a QUEEN BED...for Queen Hannah! HA HA! Anyway it's really nice and i'll give the lady i bought it from a call in a couple of weeks to take delivery after we get the bedrooms upstairs all nice and painted! Now let's cross our fingers she actually sleeps in that bed! Who knows...but it was worth a try!
On another note...the girls are doing really well walking! They are loving it and Sam is taking about 10 steps at a time. On top of that she's found she really likes to walk more than crawl so she'll find her way around the room hanging on to the wall or furniture or anything she can hold on to so she doesn't have to crawl! It's soo cute...
I have a couple of pics to post...i don't have the loaded though...so as soon as i get them i'll put them on my blog!
Also, we are staying home for thanksgiving this year...i'm sad, but there is just no way we could go to my sisters and have any fun with the girls moving around soo much. Maybe next year once they move into the new house and have a ton of room! We are planning xmas here with my family(maybe) and we'll have Pauls family all down here Dec 20th-24th...i think that'll be lots of fun since Hannah will get to meet her Aunt Terra and Cousin Isabella, whom she has never met.

These are the CUTEST Onsies i've ever seen! I even had one made for Hannah..says "big sis" and her name is on the back of hers!

The girls had a late 9 month appt with Dr. E today! It went really well.
Sarah is: Weight 17.8-10%
Height 27.5 - 20%
Head: 18 - 80%
Sam is: Weight 18.6 - 20%
Height 29.75- 75%
Head:18-80%
SO, my girls are short and skinny! WHAT? I had NO IDEA! I really thought they were nice and chubby...but obviously not! Anyway, everything else was just fine! Dr. E said we got an A+ for doing so well with the girls. They are taking about 7-8 steps now unassisted so they are doing well with that too! They are eating like champs so i'm really happy with them!
They wore their Baby A and Baby B new onsies today...i took a couple of pics. I'll post them soon!
The girls also had an inpromptu play date yesterday. One of my friends Dottie brought her babies over to buy some of my pj's and the girls were able to play together. We all had a blast and i can't wait to take them out to Dotties house to play again.
Think that's it for now..i promise pics will follow soon!

First of all to the important stuff! :) The girls are both taking 6 steps at a time...sometimes more! YIKES...i'm about to really have my hands full. I'm so excited though. They have both made such progress in a weeks time. They go back and forth and Sam will do something really cool...and then Sarah will out run her the next day. It's amazing how alike they are these days. I weighted Sam the other day and she weighted 18.5. Sarah weighted 17.8 so they are still right around 1lb apart. The girls are also waving like crazy! You say "bye, bye" and they both start screaming...and waving. It's really really cute. I'm really enjoying this part of the girls growing up. I have never been into baby babies(i'm a nervous wreck not knowing what's wrong when they cry, how to calm them, etc.)...but once they get this age i really enjoy watching the girls hit their milestones. To be quite honest i feel that the girls are really outdoing themselves. Being that they were 4 weeks early...i don't ever use their corrected age for anything. They are thriving and growing so fast right before my eyes. I'm definitely much happier now that they are so sweet and don't cry anymore. I look forward to each day knowing that there will be something new...another first, etc. Also, they have been eating all sorts of new things these days. I give them cheese, yogurt, crackers, oatmeal cream pies(they LOVE them), cheese puffs, bananas, chunks of soft soaked baby apples, baby green beans and today i bought a can of chunks of sweet potatoes in a can and sliced them up into bite size pieces and they gobbled them down like they hadn't eaten in days! :) It's so wonderful to have babies that like to eat. It's so different from Ms. Hannah....the one that never liked new foods...wouldn't eat a bottle unless she was sleeping and only ate hot dogs for weeks at a time. The twins LOVE everything.
On another note. My girlfriend (S & S's God Mother)Katie, from HS came into town on business and came down to visit. We had a great time! Had some great bonding time and Hannah just loves her so much! Anyway i have some pics to post from the weekend but i'll have to post them tomorrow. All in all the weekend was great and i'm always sorry to see Katie go home.
