First Hair Cuts!

Today we finally decided it was time to get the girls hair cut. It's been growing like crazy and looks soo shabby if we don't put it up. Yesterday we left it down and for the very first time a lady at papadeaux asked us if they were fraternal or identical. Paul started laughing because they actually didn't really look the same since their hair was all over the place. SO, we took them to this cool place called, coolcut4kids.com. At first we were REALLY annoyed...i had made an appt for 9am sharp, since i knew if we got their first we wouldn't have to wait, etc. Well, we were rushing b/c we were running a bit behind this morning. LOW and BEHOLD...the lady that had the key to open up was TWENTY minutes late! Paul was really getting annoyed...but i told him i was not leaving till the girls got their hair cut! Anyway, to make a long story short...the girls all got their hair cut. Hannah got to watch Barney the entire time of her hair cut...which by the way looks precious. Sam did AWESOME too...i plopped her in her little car and she just sat their all by herself like a big girl and a PRO at hair cutting. Sarah was another story...she was NOT going to sit in the car for the life of her. She screamed and screamed...i felt horrible. I tried to force her into the car...but she was flailing all about. Finally we decided the best was to get it done was for her to sit on my lap. So, on my lap she sat. It was hilarious because their little personalities came out a bit more today. Sam totally clung to Paul when she was scared and Sarah to me...it's been like this since they were born and THAT has never changed. Hannah on the other hand, goes both ways...she will love on whoever...normally she'll go to the one that she didn't get in trouble with 5 minutes before! LOL! All in all, it was a great time and they look SOOO cute! Hannah was up first! She got to watch Barney! And the finished product! The lady did a great job after i made her cut more off of her bangs which looked like they hadn't been cut at all the first time!Waiting patiently with their baby bears!Sam in the red car...waiting patiently. Not scared at all! She is one brave baby!Getting her hair blow dried! With her hair up in clippys!Ok, this is one cute pic! Sarah got a lolli pop to begin her cut. She was scared the entire time! Holding on to that lollipop with her hand...not the handle. One mess to clean up later! YUK!

Mom & Sarah both draped for the cut. I had to hold on to her face to get her to stay still.

Three Blooming Personalities!

Sarah is my dress up girl. She LOVES to wear my shoes...Hannah's play shoes...any shoes she can put on her feet. Her attire today was precious! Purse, hat, and princess shoes. She is my cutie...although she has become the biter lately! Sam is very photogenic these days. Everytime i get the camera out she poses for me! She has also become the baby that LOVES her baby dolls and stuffed animals. She takes them everywhere with her! She doesn't have one in particular but a few she really likes these days are: the monkey, her baby doll, and a bear that is really soft and silky!
Another cute pic of my dress up princess!
My sweet big girl...just hanging out!
This was yesterday..Sam loves to crawl up on chairs...The shirts were supposed to be their 4th of July attire...but it was so hot and they looked so cute in these shirts. We decided we'll get new shirts if they stain them before the 4th!

Sam with her monkey! She loves to love on her stuffed animals!

A pic of my Mothers Day Flowers...i hate to say it but i don't think that the girls can be out done with real flowers(from dad, if he chooses to buy me some)! These are the cutest flowers i have ever received! A Sneak peek of the wrapped presents that Hannah made for me. MDO always does soo good with home made presents...
And then there was the bag from Hannah. She REALLY wanted to open my present for me...i told her not till Sunday. She asked when that would be...so we had to go through all the days of the week and i told her we had TWO more days left!
This was taken the other day...Sarah and her shoes! What 16 month old can wear these kind of heels???

Hannah raided my closet the other day and put on a few shirts at a time. Nice ensemble...but doesnt' quite match...the shoes Do match the pink outer shirt!
Sam and her smiling again! She is just too cute!
Sarah LOVES getting up on bikes. She even got up on Hannah's big girl bike and i had to run like the wind to get her off before she flipped it over. Now we keep it laying on it's side
Think that's all for now.

I can't believe my baby girls are going on 17 months! They are talking more and more. They can repeat almost anything you say and understand almost everything. Some words they say are: baby, more peas-which means more please, up, bye bye, mama, dada, adeline(the little girl that lives across the street)...of course it's not actually pronounced adeline...but close, Alley(for Allison) and Anna for Hannah. I could go on and on about their words. I really think within the next month their vocabulary is going to really blossom in a big way. I try to compare to when Hannah was talking and if my memory serves me correctly...by the time we moved out of our seamist house she was talking very well and that was right at 18 months.

Happy Mothers Day to all the Mothers out there!

If Hannah had one million dollars, what would she buy me for Mother's Day?

Today, as i was dropping off the girls at school...the talk of the school was mothers day. Every mother in Hannah's grade HAD to check out what their children would buy their moms for mothers day if they had one million dollars! HILARIOUS! Obviously, sweet little Hannah has no concept of how MUCH one million dollars is because she wrote the following: I'd buy my mom some flowers....and a book!

Some of the other funnies were: a pearl necklace inside a heart, a birthday present for my mom and her buy me a barbie and a birthday present, some shoes for one mom(Hannah's best friend Maddy actually wrote the shoe one), and i could go on and on. They were all hilarious!

I received all sorts of cute mom's day presents today. The twins made me little paper flowers that are in little clay pots. Hannah made me something really neat...but i'm going to keep it all wrapped up till Sunday!

Other than that...the girls ARE indeed sick. The twins have green snotty noses...the usual. Very grumpy which makes me grumpy. Lots of crying and screaming..which gives me a headache...and i could go on and on. Thank goodness they went to school today and i had a day of peace and quiet. I actually went to my girlfriend(Megans) grandma's funeral..which was actually really sad for me. Her grandma was the sweetest lady ever. Megans dad actually made me start crying because as i was leaving he told me "he had just received some cards returned in the mail because nena put the wrong address on them...they were made out to the girls". She sent the girls(all 3 of them) cards ALL the time. It was actually funny because she didn't even seal them...just tuck in the flap. She had never even met the twins but sent them cards for every occasion! It was sooo sweet! Anyway, other than the funeral, i didn't do much. Sat around the house and enjoyed the peace and quiet for a while.

Last night was rough...Sam woke up at midnight and was screaming so i made Paul go pick her up. Then we couldn't get her back to bed so i got upset and slept on the couch because i hadn't felt good all day yesterday! I really needed a bit of sleep. If only the dog would have sat still for a few minutes and stopped getting up and moving from place to place in the living room...i would have been able to get a few hours of good sleep. Man that dog is annoying and makes a lot of noise at night. I should have just locked her out of the house...next time i'll know to get my lazy butt up and boot her so i can really get some sleep!

Alright, well i'm headed to bed now. I'm exhausted and i need a break and some peace and quite...i have a feeling tomorrow is going to be a rough day!

The day is just dragging and I need to VENT!

Today has just been one of those days. If you have twins or more your more than likely know what i mean. You just can't make the twins happy for the life of you. They can't stop fighting for anything...hell, not even if they are BOTH PLAYING WITH THE EXACT SAME TOY. They will still fight over the one the OTHER one has! OMG...i'm emotionally exhausted. I truly thought by 16 months...the days like these would be far and few between. BUT the fighting goes on. I just don't know what to do. They always have fights...ALWAYS! Today, i don't think i've caught more than 5 minutes without fighting or crying. It drives me crazy. I get so upset i want to take EVERY toy in this house and throw them all away and start from scratch so that EACH child has one of the SAME toys! One of the same books, etc. I just don't get it. I've called Paul a couple of times..just to vent b/c i feel soo helpless! On top of the fighting and non-stop crying...i must have slept bad last night because my neck and back are killing me! I took some tylenol...maybe i should have taken some kind of happy pill instead! LOL!!
And to those of you who have a perfect life and you don't have days like this...GOD BLESS YOU! In a perfect world my girls WOULDN'T CRY OR FIGHT...but my world is NOT perfect and i'm not going to sugar coat it today! SORRY! I have kids that fight, bite and cry A LOT! I do what i can to keep them happy..but some days it's harder than others. Today is a harder day. To those of you that think a child acts by what the parent teaches them...I totally disagree. You can give a child every ounce of love and attention you have..and then some..but for someone with 3 children...it's always divided and shared and that's just NOT the answer.

The girls are finally down for their nap...AMEN to that! I just needed a few minutes of peace and quiet. A few minutes to vent. A few minutes to relax my neck and back(maybe i'm all tense and it's stress, who knows)! Now, i need some bon bons...some ALL MY CHILDREN...and A BEER(like my girlfriend Katie always says...it's 5pm somewhere) LOL! Ok, just kidding about all that! I don't eat bon bons...i haven't watched all my children since i was 10 and i don't drink alcohol except for our Friday night dinners! UGH!
Hope all are having a better day than ME!
On a lighter note. Paul and I took the girls for our evening walk and ran into Amy and her kidos who were also going for a walk. We took a walk together...Hannah just loves Amy & Brians' kidos. They actually play ALMOST EVERYDAY. We'll take our walk and their house is on our little route, so we stop and play for a while...goodness the other night we didn't get home till 730p b/c the kids just wanted to play and play. Normally they ride their bikes...it's actually motivated Hannah to ride her big girl bike now! FUN FUN! Anyway, we walked Amy over to her parents house a few houses down from ours yesterday...I got to walk and hold Baby Solomon half the way there! He is precious! Anyway, after we got over to her parents...the kidos all wanted a turn riding in the wagon...so Paul gave them a ride. They played soo good they all took turns who would ride and who'd push in the back. So, front to back..Sam, Ethan, Sarah, Tabatha, Hannah & Naomi. One day baby Solomon will be able to play too...it'll be so much fun. It's actully soo cool b/c our kids are like steps..Tabatha is 6, Ethan will be 5 in June, Hannah will be 4 in Aug, Naomi will be 3 in Oct, The twins will be 2 in Dec and Solomon will be 1 in Dec(the girls and Solomon have bdays that are 5 days apart)

And just as i'm finishing up this post...the kidos are ALREADY up...nice 20 minute nap! AHH!!! The crying is back already! TOMORROW will be a better day!

Just some random pics...

Jennifer & Allison came over today for a day of girl play and fun! She is starting to show and looks precious! I can't believe she is almost 15 weeks! The time seems to be flying by so quickly! Since Jeff & His bro went fishing on the bay we thought it'd be fun to have a day of girl play and lunch...just us sisters and our big girls! Here is a pic of Hannah & Allison from today...playing dress up! Allison said she was a lawyer, going to a meeting! Taking after her mom, already! They are just so cute together & love each other so much. They are still anti-babies when they are together. They locked out the little girls and played all by themselves in the girls bedroom today!
Allison in her best work clothes! Purse and unmatching shoes..Another punky Brewster in the family! Punky Brewster x's TWO! Aren't they so sweet! Sam was mad b/c they couldn't play with the big girls! :)

Playing outside on the back patio...Sarah crawled up on Hannah tricycle and Sam got in the choo choo wagon waiting to go for a walk!

Hannah hanging out eating a snack...
Hannah tucked in Sam...so nice and neatly for a nap with her bear and all. Hannah reading the girls a book..They love to read

Hannah with my heels on...You can't see very closely but they are the only pair of HIGH heels i have!
A side shot...look at those Heels!
Sarah in my one flip flop! :)
Sarah climbed up on the tricycle all by herself!
Here is a pic...kinda late but better late than never. This was my table of friends/MOMS at the appreciation dinner at the Hilton! We had a blast! L to R: Me, Melody, Sally, Katherine, and the two others i don't remember their names) :(

I'm working on a post right now...it'll be my 375th post! It's going to be long...so be on the look out. It's a short re-cap of the last week before i found out i was prego(THAT was one CRAZY WEEK) and the week we actually went in to see the dr. and all sorts of good stuff! I should have it done soon!

Lastly, a few more cute pics from today that i just noticed on my camera!
Sam loves smiling for the camera!Look at that cute hat! These clothes are not matching b/c they are actually Hannah's old clothes i found and pulled out of the closet. They were a few of my favorite dresses!Mommy & Sarah...i know i hate pics of me...but Sarah looked SOO cute in this hat i thought it'd be a really cute pic...till she covered up her face! And then she laid down on the floor and wouldn't get up...so i took one more of her on the floor..in that CUTE hat! She looks soo sweet!

The FUNNIEST Comment i have heard YET!

The comcast guys came out on Saturday to wire our phone and internet. We were outside in the middle of eating picnic lunch when they showed up. The guy noticed that the girls were twins and said "look, it's the doublemint twins"! Seriously...that was hilarious to me! When is the last time ya'll have heard THAT one?? SO, today as i was grocery shopping, i only thought it was appropriate to buy this:
Ok, i know...kinda dorky. BUT i really thought it was HILARIOUS that they said that! I didn't even know they made this gum anymore. BUT, i'm going to keep it and put it in something plastic(bug free) to save it for their baby books! :)

Some Funnies to start your weekend!

First, a few pics from this morning...i think it's time for a good haircut for all the girls! Sarah in the detergent bucket! Sam with her cute little cheesy smile!
Hananh's boo boo...with neosporin

OMG! THIS is the funniest email i have EVER read! One on my MOMS sent this out this morning! This is dedicated to all those moms who've had twins or more and KNOW what happens to a body after you've carried two or more babies at one time! And to those that didn't have this problem...More power to ya! I wish i had been blessed with one of those bodies that has no battle scars from pregnancy...i'm not one of the lucky ones with good genes!

Theft Problem IMPORTANT MESSAGE:

You've heard about people who have been abducted and had their kidneys removed by black-market organ thieves.

My thighs were stolen from me during the night a few years ago. I went to sleep and woke up with someone else's thighs. It was just that quick. The replacements had the texture of cooked oatmeal. Whose thighs were these and what happened to mine? I spent the entire summer looking for my thighs. Finally, hurt and angry, I resigned myself to living out my life in jeans.

And then the thieves struck again. My butt was next. I knew it was the same gang, because they took pains to match my new rear-end to the thighs they had stuck me with earlier. But my new butt was attached at least three inches lower than my original! I realized I'd have to give up my jeans in favor of long skirts.

Two years ago I realized my arms had been switched. One morning I was fixing my hair and was horrified to see the flesh of my upper arm swing to and fro with the motion of the hairbrush. This was really getting scary - my body was being replaced one section at a time. What could they do to me next?

When my poor neck suddenly disappeared and was replaced with a turkey neck, I decided to tell my story. Women of the world, wake up and smell the coffee! Those "plastic" surgeons are using REAL replacement body parts -stolen from you and me! The next time someone you know has something "lifted", look again - was it lifted from you?

THIS IS NOT A HOAX. This is happening to women everywhere every night. WARN YOUR FRIENDS!

P.S. Last year I thought some one had stolen my Boobs. I was lying in bed and they were gone! But when I jumped out of bed, I was relieved to see that they had just been hiding in my armpits as I slept. Now I keep them hidden in my waistband.

Seriously, i'm laughing SOO hard i'm crying...this is one way to brighten anyone's day! Esp those of us who have oatmeal legs and all the other body parts to go with it! LOL!!

Hannah's First really bad Boo Boo!

Today the girls all went to school. After meeting Melody at the new awesome outlet mall for a little shopping with her girls and some lunch i headed on over to pick up my girls. As i was getting out of the car, Hannah's best friend Maddy, was getting into her grandma's car. She told me Hannah fell down and scraped up her nose, her knees and her arms. I thought...oh, no biggie...just a little boo boo!

I walked into class, Ms. Tuti immediately said "Brenda, before you see Hannah, let me warn you, it's not as bad as it looks". YIKES! This is what i found. Poor baby. She was racing her friend Auburn outside...and somehow fell down and banged up herself pretty bad. No big deal..but what drives me crazy is this medicine thing with school. The can't put anything on the scrapes other than water. They couldn't put hydrogen peroxide, or neosporin...nothing on it. ERRR...drives me CRAZY! Anyway, she's fine now...ms. tuti said she cried for about 1 minute and was fine! And her knees are all banged up too!
And then some cute pics of the girls...Sarah with her bowl begging for snacks!
Sam just a smiling...hanging out on dad's chair!
I truly think Sarah is going to be an architect...she LOVES putting things together. She will sit under her high chair all day and put the snaps together...then yell for me to take them apart. Then put them back together again. Sam on left, Sarah on right.

Think that's all for now. It's been a rough week and i'm ready for the weekend. Two things have broken in one week...our a/c upstairs(which will be replaced tomorrow) and now our brand new oven is broken(the heating element on the bottom over heated and burnt up). Do yourself a favor...DO NOT buy Fridgedaire products. We've had two items that were both bought about 1.5 years ago, break. The darn dishwasher is still making noises and now the oven. No more fridgedaire items for us.
BTW, i had a GREAT time at the outlet mall with Melody and her twins today. We went to a few stores...Gymboree(baby boy cully is going to be one spoiled little boy thanks to auntie Brenda), Gap & of course Coach and then had some lunch and i had to go(to make it back in time to pick up the girls). Her girls were SOO good the whole time. They were so patient and sweet...Sydney is definitely less shy then Katie. She was smiling and grabbing things...Katie, is definitely a bit more reserved and quiet. They are both soo sweet...and hanging out with them made me miss my girls(for just a few moments)! LOL! I think next time i'm going to try to take all 3 girls out to see her..maybe we'll go to a park or splash pad or something...Soon!
