What a great week!

Paul & I had such a nice week hanging with our nieces and my in laws/pauls parents. On our last outing yesterday we went to schliterbahn in galveston and to show the girls the beach.

The trip to schliterbahn was awesome! Paul and i both agreed that Hannah has NEVER had so much fun in her life. She wasn't scared of the water at all. We began by riding the lazy river which was a ton of fun. Hannah sat on the double float between Paul and I with a life jacket on. Since it wasn't really packed yet the lazy river was a bit empty and when you rode it the waves were extremely high...I was almost nervous b/c it started to look like a huge wave was going to hit us and the people in front of us flew out of their rafts. It wasn't bad and no one tipped over and boy, did we have a ton of fun. Schliterbahn is definitely very kid friendly...more so than even the childrens museum.

All in all we had a great week. Brooke and Nicole are such sweet girls and we hope to see them again next summer since they live so far away and it's really hard to get together with everyone.

My Nieces

My nieces Brooke & Nicole are in town with my in laws. We've had such a great week soo far! We went to the childrens museum and the aquarium yesterday. Then today we went to NASA & to Kemah to eat today. Tomorrow our plan is to go to Galveston. Let's pray for some good weather! I'll post some pics after the girls leave. They have grown up soo much in the past year...they are such sweeties. Hannah has really formed a bond with Brooke....they get along soo good. Hannah just follows Brooke around like Brooke is her big sister...it's soo cute. I'll write more later...we're just having such a great week. The twins are hanging with Grandma & Grandpa all week and having a blast.

All is quiet at the Myers house!

Well we've finally made it! I truly see the light at the end of the tunnel! For the first time ever all my girls slept in the SAME bedroom last night! Who would have imgained this could ever happen! I'm soo excited and proud! It's the sweetest thing ever! Well we've made it over one big hump...i think life will start to get back to as normal as can be expected for having 3 babies under 3!

The Twins, My Birthday & A Car Wreck!

What a week it has been for me. I had the absolute worst birthday i have ever had! I don't know where to begin. I guess first to the BEST & Most exciting news! We finally decided to let the girls cry it out at night and put them in their room! TWO Nights and going strong. The first night was REALLY BAD! Between the two they cried straight from 2-5a! What a bad morning it was for me. On top of that It was my bday morning...and i was exhausted mentally and physically! The second night(last night) was like living in HEAVEN! Sam got up a few times but just whimpered and went back to bed...Sarah my little sleeper slept from 8p-630a! WHAT A GREAT NIGHT! Anyway that was the best part of our week!

Now on to the Wreck! Julia has planned to take Hannah and meet all her friends at the zoo. Anyway to make a long story short...and i don't even know whos telling the truth about the wreck...Julia slammed into the back of her friends car with my car. She must have hit pretty bad becuase it caused 1500 worth of damage to my car...so now we are out alot of money that we didn't need to spend becuase of Julia's not watching where she was going! What a MESS! We have to pay for my car, her friends car,etc.. Luckily and most importantly Hannah was not hurt! Thank GOD! Anyway to top this wreck off she let her friends host familys kids play in my car and i had pen writing all over my leather seat! I had to scrub it out with on of those magic pen things from mr. clean. It totally took off all the texture and i'm not a happy person about the whole thing! What a mess!!! Needless to say we're not extending with the service as we had originally thought! Once again, what a MESS!!!!!!

Think that's all for now...i'm on my own today and it's going great so far. I really think i can just do it on my own. Paul is scared that he is going to have to deal with a not so Happy person when he gets home from work! I'll let you know how that turns out later! :)

I'l loosing my extra set of hands

Well Julia is going on Vacation for TWO WHOLE WEEKS! I just can't imgaine how things are going to run around here. I did find a polish girl we met at the park to help out while she's gone. I'm just not sure how well she works under pressure. I'm actually really really nervous.

I also just can't wait till this bathroom is done and there is no-one working in my house anymore. After that i won't be so stressed out about the girls crying so much. Right now i get all nervous and feel like a bad mom if there's someone working on the house and my girls are crying...plus they usually egg each other on so if one's crying the other starts to cry and gets even louder than the first. SO as soon as everyone is gone i'm going to buy the biggest baddest pair of ear plugs and let them scream to their best ability! LOL! Just kidding.

Other than that i'm on a baking frenzy. I've baked 3 or 4 carrott cakes in the past few weeks and i think i've mastered it(Don't ask me how i have time to bake with three kids under 3 but i find time.) I'm planning on baking another one for the guy that bought our house.

O yeah and on another note: we have a whole family of possums in our backyard! Gracye went crazy the other day and paul piked up the little ramp that goes up to the little playhouse/shed in the backyard and low and behold there was a mom and 4-5 babies underneath. We ended up catching one in our neighbor Charlies, trap. BUT there are still 4 or 5 in the backyard hiding!

By the way S & S both have 2 teeth coming in and they have broken the skin and are visible. I think the two top ones aren't far behind because they are totally getting soliva all over the place!

One last thing...the guys are done tiling the restroom. Tomorrow is paint, then shower doors and trim. I don't think it'll be much longer....i'm so excited and ready to have a pool party with Hannah!

We closed on the other house

Well after months and months of hoping we'd find the perfect person to buy our house...we've finally sold it. We closed Friday and it's officially a done deal now. We are so thankful and relieved that we don't have to worry about the house anymore. What a pain in the keister. Anyway the guy that bought the house is a great guy. Single with two kids but the kids live with their mom except for every other weekend. SO that's why he was ok with the smaller house. He also said over and over again how much he loved the fence, etc.

Not much more to report except for my girlfriend Amy that lives a block over is pregnant again. This is her fourth baby and we are so excited for her. It's going to be soo cool because all our kids are like steps: Tabatha is 5, Ethan is 4, Hannah is going to be 3, Naomi is going to be 2 in Oct and the girls will be 1 in Dec. and then her baby is due Dec 30th, 2007..how cool would it be if she had her baby on the twins birthday a year later?! We are just so happy they live so close and are such great friends. Hannah also went to Ethans bday party this past Friday at McDonalds...she had a great time and Amy did such a great job with the spiderman theme even though i think she's pretty sick and exhausted all the time. O how i don't envy her going through the whole morning/daytime sickness.

Think that's it for now, it's 8:30p and i'm already falling asleep!

Personalities Samantha V.S. Sarah

Sarah & Sam's personalities are both coming out now.

My thoughts are that:

Sarah is going to be outgoing just like Hannah. Sam is going to be more conservative like Allison. Sarah loves to smile and giggle at Hannah. She loves to watch Hannah all day long. Hannah was dancing for her and all she could do was stare and giggle. Samantha loves Sugar our dog. She yells at her all day long. Today was a day of lots of talking for Sam. She was making noises all day long. Yelling at Sugar and Hannah. It was really funny and soo cute. They both LOVE the bumpos and red wagon. We were even brave enough to take them to walmart this past memorial day. We seriously took the red wagon and bumpos and put them in the bumpos in the wagon. Boy it's weird taking them out in public. People stare like i've never imagined. It's really kinda sad for Hannah because people never take a double take of her but when it comes to the girls people stare and talk to us like they are our best friends. In return i know we just have to give her a little extra attention even if she's the most self sufficient 2.5 year old i've ever known. I can't tell you how many people struck up a conversation with us in walmart. How many people cooed at the girls or had comments about how i "have my hands full". As my MOMS of Multiples says "full hands, full hearts" and now i truly believe that. We may have our hands full...and boys is that and UNDERSTATMENT...but our hearts are SOO FULL i could have never imagined how much love we get in return already! It's worth every minute even if the girls are still waking up twice a night on a good night :)

Today was a great day with the girls. Sarah and Sam were both laughing and smiling all day. Sarah loves to eat on her bug and jump in her jumperoo all day! Samantha likes to play in the baby einstein with all the different toys and she loves to eat fingers.

They both have 2 teeth now...and sam's are really poping out to where you can really see them. Sarah's are out but you can't seem them really good yet.

Hope everyone had a great Holiday! For once in the past five months i can say we truly had a great weekend with a much smaller amout of crying in the house. Just say a prayer the girls are finally outgrowing the crying stage...

By the way Hannah is such a great big sister. She really loves the girls and really helps a lot. In the morning i take them in her room and put them in the bouncy chairs and she totally plays with them while i get as much done as i can before our day really gets going. Every time i've gone in there she is covering them up or playing with them with their toys and they are always totally smiling and giggling.

IT's going to be a rough weekend!

We just noticed Sam is getting ANOTHER tooth. So now she's getting the two bottom teeth together! YIKES! Just wish us luck that the orajel works like it did on Hannah! AND they get some sleep!

Sarah

Got her first tooth in today. It actually broke through the skin and everything. We are all doing ok...just praying for the day where we can go somewhere and not worry about babies fussing all the time.

Hannah also started school last thursday and is loving it. Although i have a really funny story about school. She came home the other day and immediately told me Maddy pushed her and wouldn't let her see daddy's truck as he was pulling in the parking lot(there's a window in her school room where they sit and wait for their parents to get there to pick them up). Anyway she said Maddy wasn't her friend anymore. Well the next day i told Maddys grandmother that about the situation. She laughed and said that Maddy had went home and told her that Hannah slapped her in the face but it was a long story. Anyway who knows the whole truth...it was just really funny but it's great to be able to have somewhat of a conversation with her now that she talks like a big girl!

Samantha

Got her first tooth today! It broke through the skin and everything! She seems to be doing ok through the whole thing. It really poped out fast considering i just saw the white coming through the gums yesterday! Now we're waiting on Sarah's tooth to come through!

P.S. Neither Sarah nor Sam is sleeping through the night yet!! I GIVE UP! Luckily my body and Pauls body are adjusted!

The Twins baptism & Mothers Day

The girls were baptized this past weekend. Everything went very well. Katie, my bestfriend from KY came in since we asked her to be the God mother. Steve, Pauls brother also came in because we asked him to be the God Father. Jaymie also came to the baptism and hung out with us all weekend. We had such a great time. I'm always sad to see them go.

I will attach pics as soon as i load them from the computer. The girls were just adorable.

Secondly, we signed ANOTHER contract for the house. I hope and pray this one goes through...we should be closing no later than June 4th! Cross your fingers!

Dr. appt

Paul and I took the girls in for their 4 month check up today.

Good but Bad news:
Sarah & Sam are both overweight! Who would have known that! To me they are still tiny!

They weight the following:
Sarah is 13
Sam is 13.14 HOLY SMOKES!

Sarah is 40% percentile for weight
she is 22 3/4 inches so 5% for height
and 16 inches for head circumference which is also 5%

Sam is 50% weight
23 1/4 height so 10%
and 16 inches for head...

NOW the bad part is all these percentiles should be even...not close with my girls. They are way fat and way short! I knew they were short even in the womb...but now the dr. thinks they are too heavy. Good part about that for me is that if and when Hannah goes back to school...if she gets them sick i won't be so worried about them loosing a bit of weight.

With that being said...i told the dr. i had been giving them a bit of cereal in the morning...which they really don't get more than one mouthful when i feed them. She said NO MORE CEREAL and that i should give them veggies and fruits instead. I have never heard this one before...but i'm going to start on that as soon as i get to the store for some baby food. I've learned from last time i'm really going to push greens...esp avacodas(spelling) Hannah hates them but i hear they are really good for brain growth.

Other than the dr. appt not much going on over here.

We did the walk on Sunday! Had a semi good time. Sam was hungry by the time we got around the corner...had to prop her bottle up and feed her on the go. Hannah had a blast...she just loved seeing ben and melody and the girls!! She was yelling melodys name the whole time trying to have conversation after conversation with her! It was really cute!

O yeah on another note: Mr. Beta died last Moday. We went to get her a new one and ended up getting a new beta and 3 hermit crabs. She likes them and they are definitely more fun than the beta...but they STINK! I'm wondering how long before they find a home out on the porch! :)

Lastly, thank you to all those who donated money for such a great cause! I walked through the start point almost in tears seeing all the people who have suffered premature births. ALL the signs sponsored by companies with babies names on them...some celebrating life others had not made it. I definitely think this will be the charity we will always hold close to our heart after melodys situation. I also just found out there is a lady in our group who had IVF..she had two eggs inplanted...both took and SPLIT which is a one in 9 millions chance! She ended up with quads...two sets of identical babies....3 of the 4 lived...they were at the walk celebrating the boys lifes...as well as the one that didn't make it...they were celebrating in memory of him! I had to fight hard to keep the tears back...

If you do not have a charity you support you should make it next years new years resolution to get one and really support that charity....even research it and see how much actually goes to the charity how many employees they pay etc. It's the best feeling in the world and it's not like you have to give tons of money!

I think that's it for now! I hope to update and keep on this more often...it's been crazy around here the past few weekends...hopefully it'll slow down soon!

Gosh i didn't realize how bigs those pics were i sent to our family and friends. If you are reading this and i stopped up your email...SORRY! I had no idea how big the pics were until i asked Paul after i got a ton of return emails stating the pics were tooo big! OOOPS!

I'm going to add some updated pics of the girls...we took them out to the bluebonnets this morning...gosh they are such precious babies! We are so blessed to have such healthy beautiful baby girls!!

O yeah on another note...we sold the house! We signed the paperwork Sat and it's a done deal now. We close on May 4th...we are soo happy. Hopefully life will get back to normal soon after the house is a done deal and we get this darn bathroom finished! Should all be done by June1st! We'll see!

counter to date

I upgraded my blog as you all can see but the stupid thing lost all my info.

I had 1039 hits before i changed my template yesterday and revamped my counter.

Now if i can figure out how to put the darn lilypie thing back on i'll be set to go.

The girls are all doing well. S&S still have colds..nothing to be worried about. Hannah still has a cough...nothing to be worried about either. Paul is sick to with a cold...not good when he snores like a gorilla at night and i need as much sleep as possible since the girls still aren't sleeping through the night.

We're throwing around keeping Julia for another 6 months. Paul and i both kinda agreed that i'm really starting to think i'll need someone full time for another 6 months because the girls are still so high maintenance and i just don't see myself spending 500 a week on a nanny that comes and goes. SO, this may be our only way and if julia leaves in Feb we'll have more time before we have to put Hannah back in school. It's all kinda up in the air now...but we need to figure it out soon...so we can make plans.

O yeah my girlfriend Jaymie is pregnant! We are all so excited for her and Chad! She is Due Nov 20th and doing really well. We've all been praying for her to have a happy healthy pregnancy...she's at 9 weeks this upcoming week and is doing great!

Paul, Hannah, Sarah, Samantha and I are getting ready for the big walk. We still have a few weeks left to go...

I never thought i'd find a cause so close to my heart as i do with The March of Dimes. Just knowing that Melody's premature labor(my friend that had her babies at 26 weeks gestation and weighting in at 1.10lbs and 1.12lbs) could have been prevented with more reasearch on preterm births...i find myself really wanting to help out!!

Hannah

She definitely has a UTI. I talked to the dr. yesterday and the dr. said she had numbers for something(can't remember the name) in the hundreds of thousands. From what i got from that was that her numbers were high and she definitely had a UTI. She also said from the blood test they could tell Hannah was Anemic. YIKES! She said i need to feed Hannah some LIVER! YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Paul said he's going to buy some and see if Hannah likes it. Perhaps i have horrible memories because my mom didn't know how to cook it...i DON"T KNOW!!!

Sarah & Sam both have colds...nothing really bad just the sniffles. I hope everyone gets better soon..but with this weather who knows.

Hannah

Well i'm assuming she had a UTI because the dr. said from her urinalysis everything pointed to a UTI. SO, she gave me the medicine and things are MUCH better. Yesterday was a BAD day for my sweet Hannah. She slept almost all day and didn't want to eat or drink or anything...that is when i finally decided to call the dr. and tell her we needed something because she is getting worse. Her fever was really high two nights ago...to the point i had to give her tylenol and then motrin rotating them out every 2 hours.

Now she doesn't have a temp and is taking her medicine like a big girl. She has also decided that she doesn't want to wear diapers and just wants to wear panties. She has had 2 accidents(one #2 and one #1). She is such a big girl...i can't believe my big girl is potty training herself!

Hannah & Sarah also have a cold. Both are also kinda stuffy and snotty. I'm sure they'll get better soon.

Update

I took Hannah to the dr. yesterday. She had some issues pooping all weekend...crying and telling me her butt hurt. The dr. checked her out and couldn't figure out what was wrong with her, although she did have a fever of 99.7, which isn't a really bad fever but does tell us her body is trying to fight something off. We ended up getting a urine sample and having a cbc(where the take blood out of her arm). It was pretty bad and she was NOT at all happy about someone taking blood. POOR BABY! I felt soo bad.

Anyway now we wait and see what the results show. I hope and pray she's ok.

Sarah and Sam are both a bit sick with stuffy noses...since this isn't my first baby i'm a little more lienient and not sooo worried. I did call the dr. and she said nothing i could do besides try to make them both comfortable. I'm using the suction and little noseys...it's helping a bit.

I weighted the girls today...my babies aren't such small babies anymore.

Sarah weighted in at 11.3
Sam weighted in at 12.2

I can't believe they are a whole pound apart now...but i can really tell the weight difference. Sam is soooo heavy...Sarah is heavy but definitely not as heavy. They are just both soo precious and cute little babies...they smile soo much now and they can focus on things really well too.

Now let's all say a prayer that they sleep through the night sometime soon. I don't know why they are still getting up every 3 hours....it's driving me CRAZY. I'd love to have just one whole night of sleep sometime soon...even if just 9-3 or 4a. ANY sleep would be fine...paul and i are both just so exhausted.

Will keep ya'll updated as soon as we hear more about Hannah!
